POSITION SUMMARY :
The Financial Reporting / Accounting, Investor Relations, & Governance Compliance Intern will support the following teams with investor relations, finance, and audit related tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Financial Reporting / Accounting :
- Support the accounting and SEC reporting for areas that may include interest rate derivatives, debt, joint ventures and other investments.
- Perform activities to support external and internal audit requirements, including schedule preparation and workflow management.
- Assist with the compilation of reporting packages to joint venture partners and lenders.
Investor Relations :
Stakeholder Relationships
Manage relationships with Analysts and Investors.
Generate value added information for senior management.
Communicate the company's financial story to the investor community.
Governance & Compliance :
Issue, track and manage SOX document request's.
Monitoring of requested documentation from corporate / field resources.
Aid department in reviewing COPT's internal policies site.
