We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring smooth and timely order fulfillment from start to finish.
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, order processing, and shipping. You will ensure that products are delivered on time, troubleshoot any operational challenges, and coordinate the activities within the distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring smooth workflows for inventory management, order processing, and shipment coordination.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring products are available for timely fulfillment while minimizing overstock.
- Coordinate shipments to sports teams and retailers across the Midwest, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment.
- Perform general management duties, including overseeing a team of 10, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Address any operational issues that arise and implement solutions to maintain productivity and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve fulfillment-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse management position.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory management systems and shipping processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage the team and maintain efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
