Warehousing

The Warehousing assists the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the logistics directorate task area. The position’s primary mission involves assisting in the planning and coordination of deployment, sustainment, and redeployment support for Marine Corps forces assigned or attached to CENTCOM, working with units and support agencies worldwide to ensure equipment accountability, responsive supply support, distribution efforts and monitor both ground and aviation equipment readiness. The Warehousing directly supports services for MARCENT G-4, providing logistical supply support in the conduct of warehousing operations, to ensure the efficient execution of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The Warehousing will perform the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct warehousing operations.
• Provide logistical supply support, execution of organizational level processes and procedures that comply with Marine Corps directives for supply, maintenance, transportation, distribution, general equipment accounting and other services that directly affect operational forces, foreign and domestic for service needs, missions, and training requirements.
• Provide system analyses of shipments, disposal and problems associated with the management of material and equipment accountability for serviceability and shelf life.
• Prepare records and documents such as missing gear statements, work orders, proof of delivery, Bill of ladings, shipping orders, and monitors Delivery Tracking Schedules (DTS).
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records manifest, invoices, and orders to verify accuracy.
• Provide system analyses of programs and problems associated with the management of supply and maintenance systems.
• Assists in the coordination for fielding of Table of Equipment (T/E), Principle End Items (PEIs), to include actions pertaining to accountability, management, disposal, and distribution.

EDUCATION

• HS diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum ten years of military experience.
• Experience in conducting warehousing operations, including managing logistics support for supply, maintenance, transportation, and distribution.
• Experience in preparing and managing warehousing documents such as missing gear statements, work orders, proof of delivery, Bills of Lading, and shipping orders.
• Background in coordinating the fielding of Table of Equipment (T/E) and Principle End Items (PEIs), including their accountability, management, disposal, and distribution.
• Experience in coordinating the fielding of equipment, managing accountability and distribution, and overseeing the lifecycle of Principle End Items (PEIs).

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in managing warehousing operations, ensuring efficient supply support, and executing logistics processes in accordance with Marine Corps directives.
• Strong skills in providing logistical support, performing system analyses of shipments and inventory, and managing material and equipment accountability. Proficiency in preparing and handling warehousing documents, including Bills of Lading, proof of delivery, and work orders, and monitoring Delivery Tracking Schedules (DTS).
• Ability to accurately verify shipment contents against records, manifests, and orders, ensuring correct delivery and inventory management.
• Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
• Contractor personnel assigned to work on this task must be able to lift 25 pounds.

SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS

• Travel is required.
• Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• A Secret clearance is required for this position.
