CPS is hiring a qualified candidate that will coordinate virtual appointments for mental health staff and patients.
Job Description Summary
The Telehealth Facilitator supports the implementation and delivery of telehealth services by coordinating virtual appointments, ensuring the proper functioning of technology, and assisting patients and healthcare professionals with technical or logistical issues. The role involves facilitating communication, patient education, and promoting efficient remote care delivery
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination of Telehealth Appointments:
- Schedule virtual appointments between patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure that patients are informed about the telehealth process, including how to access
virtual consultations.
- Verify patient information and update records in the healthcare system.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to both patients and healthcare providers regarding telehealth software or platforms.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to video conferencing or other telehealth
technologies.
- Ensure equipment, such as computers, cameras, and microphones, are functioning properly before appointments
Healthcare Provider Support:
- Assist healthcare providers with the technical aspects of telehealth appointments, including setting up virtual consultations.
- Help manage and maintain telehealth platforms, including ensuring seamless connection
during sessions.
Patient Care:
- Report any mental health, medical and /or security concerns to the appropriate onsite
personnel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year experience as an administrative assistant, medical secretarial
experience preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, corrections, customer service, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms – Preferred
Must Clear Facilities Back Ground Clearances

- Salary: $20 - $27/hr
