The Inside Sales Representative will be working with our existing customer base as well as prospecting for new customers. Day-to-day Tasks and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide premier customer service to differentiate Corrosion Materials from our competition.
- Develop sales strategies that focus on profitable sales growth both with existing customers and potential customers.
- Formulate quotes for potential business with new or existing customers.
- Provide higher-level depth of relationships with customers including in-person visits and activities.
- Develop forecasting methods to work together with customers and establish accurate material forecasts.
- Research, identify, and implement new products and programs to enhance profitability.
- Establish strong communication between Inside and Outside Sales, Purchasing, and other functions within the organization.
- Adhere to all CMI safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to all CMI handbook policies, procedures, and business codes of ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of sales experience
- Market experience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and supplier
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area
- Two or more years of sales and marketing experience
