Cortland Park is looking for an eager and energetic individual to join our team as the Director of Social Services! We are a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Cortland, New York and specialize in short term rehabilitation and long term care services. Our goal is to make sure every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
Our Director of Social Services reports to the Administrator, and is responsible for developing and directing the services department to ensure the residents needs are being met. They are also responsible to ensure compliance in accordance with State and Federal regulations as it applies to the department. Further, they must work to identify a residents psychosocial, mental and emotional needs, and barriers to discharge. They will provide support and encouragement to the resident/family throughout their stay at the facility focusing on achieving the maximum quality of life possible.
Qualifications:
B.S Degree in Social Sevices preferred
