What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Surgery Consultant position at Cosmetic Physician Partners?
Wave Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Laser Center, which is led by Dr. Peter Lee, is a renowned institution that specializes in advanced anti-aging techniques, plastic surgery, and non-invasive cosmetic treatments.
As an Aesthetic Consultant, your main responsibility will be to educate patients about the proposed treatment care plans, manage patient interactions before and after the surgery, coordinate patient scheduling, and collaborate closely with clinical providers.
A passion for cosmetics and the ability to connect with customers will be essential in creating memorable patient experiences and allow for professional growth.
Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday 9 am-6 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of all surgical and non-surgical services provided at the Practice and educate patients regarding their desired procedures to determine realistic goals before scheduling a consultation with the appropriate provider.
- Credential all providers and cross-promote services/treatments to hit goals based on a variety of metrics set by the Company.
- Meet with prospective patients during the initial consultation and serve as the patient advocate to discuss their interested surgical procedures, and general desired time frame, and answer any questions or concerns.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient data with detailed notes in EMR software.
- Prepare and present surgical packets, including the price quote, information about the procedure, and various payment methods; Assist the patient with financing options, if needed.
- Schedule cosmetic surgical cases and work with the point of contact at the surgery center/hospital/recovery suites to coordinate patient care.
- Generate follow-up calls and/or emails to prospective cosmetic patients.
- Optimize customer service and maintain relationships with all current and prospective patients, while demonstrating ethical sales practices.
- Hold a high level of professionalism at all times while interacting with patients, families of patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Maintain a positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and professional attire at all times.
- Practice patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines and follow all Company protocols, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care and overall experience.
- Previous experience working in plastics - preferred but not required
- Previous sales experience
- Bilingual in Mandarin - preferred but not required
- Willing to travel, split time between 2 locations
