Responsibilities:
- Performs general clerical duties, such as answering telephones and giving information to callers, taking messages, or transferring calls to appropriate individuals.
- Operate office equipment, distribute incoming mail and other materials.
- Provide logistics support and coordinate various activities for general operation of the facility.
- Communicates with Plant Manager and Leads daily to coordinate shipping, operational and administrative requirements.
- Assists with the completion of required HR documents, coordinates and participates in training activities, and acts as a resource for employees and plant leadership.
- As required, performs miscellaneous other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) required, Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a secretarial, clerical or administrative assistant position required.
- Strong general office work skills including computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize Company software programs.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to handle complex information with discretion and maintain the confidentiality of all company information.
- Bilingual with the ability to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently is a plus.
