The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) is seeking a SAVE Program Manager to join its team in Santa Barbara.
The Program Manager oversees and facilitates the overall functioning and service delivery of the SAVE Employee Assistance Program. Responsibilities include ensuring that employers and their employees receive the services offered through contractual agreement to include free counseling, assessment, referral, financial consultation, management coaching, trainings, critical incident stress debriefings and legal guidance.
Qualifications:
- College degree in helping profession (Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) required.
- AMFT nearing licensure or LMFT
- Marketing and outreach experience
- Experience (2 years minimum) in a helping profession involving direct counseling (group or individual) and intake and assessment to a varied client population
- Experience in chemical dependency prevention, education and treatment.
- Experience with electronic health record system
Responsibilities:
- Originates and coordinates a marketing plan that involves contacting executive officers of local business and industry and explaining the purpose and benefits of an Employee Assistance Program in their company or facility.
- Provide training sessions for all supervisory personnel and informs all employees that the program is available. Provides presentations as required in accordance with terms of individual contracts.
- Manage and maintain company contracts, affiliate provider files, invoices, and credentialing records.
- Provide primary clinical assessment and short-term counseling, referring clients to appropriate clinicians or resources as needed.
- Track the progress of supervisor-referred employees and report in compliance with confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate client records and a network of local referral resources.
- Provide, prepare, and distribute resource materials, brochures, pamphlets, and additional printed materials as per individual contract terms and company needs.
This is a full-time non-exempt position, 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement contribution, and paid time off. Compensation is dependent on the level of prior experience and qualifications, with a pay range of $33.00-$34.62/hour.
