Job Description:
Job Function: As a Commercial Loan Administrator I, you will provide administrative support for assigned Lenders, focusing on loan production and ongoing loan documentation support. Your primary duties will include interacting with loan administration staff, lending officers, and customers, playing a key role in closing new business and maintaining loan files through all phases of the lending process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loan Preparation: Assist in preparing loan and sales proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Statement Analysis: Correctly analyze and monitor financial information, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.
- Loan File Maintenance: Work with loan officers and loan administration to maintain loan files, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Customer Support: Provide general support to customers, handling inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Order Management: Order insurance, title commitments, and appraisals as required, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Collection Calls: Make collection calls to customers, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- New Business Development: Assist in developing new relationships, working through the entire new business closing and boarding process.
- Treasury Management: Provide day-to-day Treasury Management services, ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
- Product Sales: Sell additional products and services to customers, promoting the Bank's services and fostering long-term relationships.
- Banking Center Support: Assist with day-to-day operations at assigned banking centers, answering phones, directing traffic, and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Qualifications/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience as a Loan Assistant in a financial institution lending department.
- Lending Knowledge: Knowledge of lending policies and procedures is essential, with a good understanding of other product offerings of the bank that have consumer applications.
- Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Professionalism: Exhibit and maintain a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
