Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct residential painting and minor renovations as needed.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure facilities are well-maintained.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising projects or teams.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and protocols in all maintenance activities.
