Job Summary:

County Line Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary hospital. This role is responsible for managing staff, financial performance, client experience, and overall hospital efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in veterinary practice management, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the veterinary team, ensuring a high level of patient care and client service.

  • Oversee hospital operations, including workflow management, scheduling, and inventory control.

  • Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and revenue tracking.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to promote professional development and team success.

  • Implement and maintain hospital policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor and enhance client experience, addressing concerns and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and efficiency.

  • Ensure the hospital operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary practice management or a similar leadership role.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in veterinary software and general business technology.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team-building and client relations.
