ASSISTANT HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR

The County of Hudson is seeking resumes and letters of interest from qualified candidates for the Assistant Hospital Adminstrator position at Meadowview Psychiatric Hospital. Meadowview Psychiatric Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited, 84 bed, adult inpatient hospital. The Hospital Administrator is responsible for providing complete oversight of the hospital. This includes, but is not limited to clinical programming, fiduciary responsibilities, managing day-to-day operations, handling personnel matters and other responsibilities related to the operation of the hospital. All duties are to be performed in accordance with all hospital licensing and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Public Health, Public Administration or Healthcare Administration Nursing.

Preferred Credentials:

Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LCSW).

Experience:

Five years supervisory or management experience in a the healthcare field. At least three years in senior management or administration. Work experience in behavioral healthcare settings, inpatient and outpatient, serving severely and persistently mentally ill (SPMI) population.

In-depth knowledge of all regulatory and accrediting standards i.e.:

• Division of Mental Health and Addictions Services (DMHS)
• Department of Health (DOH)
• Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS)
• The Joint Commission (TJC)
