BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a Program Supervisor, assist in developing, and implementing quality management and quality assurance monitoring in a variety of Behavioral Health Programs; monitor the frequency and level of County-provided services through the State-mandated system of quality improvement, quality assurance, and utilization review.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: any requirements consistent with a licensed Registered Nurse, Vocational Nurse, or Psychiatric Technician and four years of experience in a mental health or substance use disorder treatment setting as a specialist in the fields of physical restoration, social adjustment or vocational adjustment; OR an associate’s degree in a mental health or substance use disorder related field and six years of responsible experience in a mental health or substance use disorder treatment setting as a specialist in the fields of physical restoration, social adjustment or vocational adjustment; up to two years of graduate professional education may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis; four years of clinical experience may be substituted for the required associate’s degree in addition to the requirement of six years experience in a mental health setting or substance use disorder treatment. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver’s License.
