At the County of Jackson, WI, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of social services to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate prospective consumers' needs, determine appropriate response, and ensure that response is made.
- Provide social services per Wisconsin Statutes, court policies, and/or requirements of the program, state, or federal guidelines.
- Work to achieve services and treatment objectives without duplication of effort and with maximum effective use of staff time and available resources.
- Coordinate access to services, monitor cases to ensure that services are provided in an appropriate and timely manner, review progress, and terminate services when goals are attained.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with drug and alcohol population, mental health population and/or vulnerable adults.
