The salary range for this position is $4,446 - $5,914 monthly.The Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED) department is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant I to join our Administrative Services Team in CPED. Under the guidance of the Administrative Services Manager and in collaboration with other CPED leadership, the Administrative Assistant I will provide support to the department divisions and programs, participate with boards and commissions, assist in public records requests, and other duties to support the priorities of the department. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following: Provides specific administrative and/or technical support within the Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED) Office. May serve as a point of contact for specific program area. Reviews information related to the function of the program for accuracy and clarity. Researches and drafts recommendations of procedures, products or services, and activities within the Department/Office or specific program. Coordinates services or programs with other agencies. May provide support for a board or commission. Schedules meetings and events, determines agendas and supporting materials, prepares minutes and other reports, and independently conducts follow-up assignments as requested.Performs research and compiles data. Designs databases and other programs to track and analyze information, and prepares materials for presentations, as needed.Processes public records requests. Handles inquiries and requests by community members, the Commissioners' Office or other departments.Performs miscellaneous duties requested by the CPED department leadership or their designee.
