We are currently hiring a Business Development Marketing Associate for our OH and MI locations.
Job Overview:
As an Entry Level Business Development Associate Representative for Cousino Restoration & Environmental an insurance restoration and general contracting company, you will play a key role in building relationships with existing clients and educating them about our service offerings. You will be responsible for executing high-volume route visits to agents across multiple counties, leaving behind marketing materials, and facilitating ongoing conversations around our services. Additionally, the associate will support the Senior Business Development Representatives by handling administrative tasks, taking part in all marketing events including association and after hour events to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Route Visits & Relationship Building:
- Visit assigned insurance agents in multiple counties across the OH and MI area on a daily basis.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance agents to create awareness of our services and capabilities.
- Educate agents about our insurance restoration and general contracting services, including the benefits of partnering with us.
- Act as the face of the company in the field, promoting our brand and fostering positive professional relationships.
- Marketing & Branding:
- Distribute marketing materials to insurance agents, brokers, and other relevant contacts.
- Ensure that agents have up-to-date collateral on our service lines and value proposition.
- Represent our company with professionalism and consistency in all marketing efforts and materials.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and marketing team to align branding efforts and promotional campaigns.
- Educational Support:
- Provide ongoing education to agents regarding our service lines, including insurance restoration and general contracting.
- Help agents understand the specific benefits our services bring to their clients and policyholders.
- Conduct brief presentations or discussions as necessary to ensure agents are well-informed.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist Senior Sales Representatives with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating CRM systems, and tracking agent interactions.
- Help manage lead generation and tracking systems for future sales opportunities.
- Provide detailed reports to the Sales Director about marketing efforts, route visits, and agent engagement.
- CRM Utilization (HubSpot):
- Use HubSpot CRM to track, log, and maintain a detailed record of all activities and conversations with agents.
- Log daily visit activities, marketing material distribution, and follow-up actions within the CRM system.
- Regularly update the CRM with notes on agent feedback, questions, and any potential sales leads.
- Ensure all relevant information is entered into HubSpot for accurate reporting and analysis by the Sales Director and Senior Sales Reps.
- Route Planning & Reporting:
- Plan and maintain an organized route for daily visits, ensuring timely follow-up and effective coverage of assigned areas.
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly metrics on visit frequency, material distribution, and agent feedback.
- Track and maintain records of agent interactions, marketing material distribution, and sales leads.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A background in marketing, sales, or insurance is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a customer-facing, sales, or marketing role (preferably in the insurance or contracting industry).
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with insurance agents and industry professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to organize and manage a high-volume route with multiple stops per day.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
- Comfortable with public speaking and educating groups of agents.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or other CRM systems is preferred; willing to train for those unfamiliar with HubSpot.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel within the OH and MI area and visit multiple agents daily.
- Ability to carry marketing materials and handle administrative duties on the go.
Working Conditions:
- This position will involve frequent travel within the OH and MI areas visiting insurance agents and delivering marketing materials.
- The individual must be comfortable working independently while adhering to a structured schedule provided by the Director of Sales.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: 45K-55K
