What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and manage relationships with industrial, commercial, and distributor clients
- Visit customer sites to assess needs and offer tailored coating solutions
- Conduct product demos and apply mock-ups in the field
- Deliver quotes and follow through to close sales
- Train customers on product use and best practices
- Attend trade shows and support promotional events
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D to share field insights and help shape product strategy
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and business development goals
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in coatings, painting, or related industries
- Strong technical aptitude — comfortable applying coatings or doing field demos
- Proven consultative selling skills and the ability to identify customer needs
- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% (mostly U.S., occasional international)
