Business Analyst II
JOB SUMMARY
Covalent Solutions (Covalent) is seeking a mission driven, highly motivated and collaborative Business Analysts who are truly excited about building great products for the New York City Department of Social Services. As a Business Analyst, you will apply your skills to aid in the SDLC process to deliver quality software modules to drive projects forward and efficiently meet project and business objectives. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a mission-driven organization.
This opportunity is full-time with Covalent and is on-site in Brooklyn, New York.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to :
Work with the project manager to define success metrics and criteria.
Ensuring the program / project meets success parameters and business objectives stated in the project plan and charter.
Providing transparency and communication on project status and risks to project stakeholders.
Work with the project / program manager and technical team to deliver software modules.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Work Experience
4 years of experience in requirement gathering, business process modelling and conducting user acceptance testing.
4 years of experience in Gap, Feasibility, SQL and Data Analysis.
4 years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Methodologies, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies.
4 years of experience in designing workflow and process flow, preparing BRD, FRD, SRS documents.
4 years of experience understanding of IT Systems and Process Optimization.
