JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.
4 East is a 42-bed long-term care unit. It provides needed care to those residents needing long-term placement in a home-like environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- Graduate of Maine State Board-approved CNA course
- Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry
EXPERIENCE
- 1–3 years previous CNA experience preferred
- Will consider new CNAs with relevant work experience
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
- Medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
- The ability to work well within a team of other care providers
- Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
