About the Opportunity:
CoventBridge is seeking a Support Analyst with Help Desk experience in the Jacksonville, FL area to join our IT Team. This position is responsible for assessing and troubleshooting computer, user and system problems, such as password resets, various desktop support issues and specialized applications support. Additionally, this position will require laptop/ desktop rollouts, network printer setup deployment and using remote support application to fix end users problems. This position will create and configure user accounts/ permissions in Active Directory and Office 365, VOIP phone support. Our Technicians are our front- line support and the best candidate for this role is tech-savvy and interested in learning more about the technologies our end users require to perform their jobs daily.
Responsibilities/ Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support for specialized / proprietary applications
- Active Directory computer / user account creation
- Office 365 user creation / reset user passwords
- Setup network file share(s) for users
- Provide periodic desktop remote control support
- Working with mobile device management software
- Adhere to standard procedure documentation
Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain solutions to users with a basic working knowledge of computer systems
- Must be able to work equally well in a team environment as well as individually
- Basic TCP/IP networking concepts
- Basic VOIP communications
- Troubleshoot all network related issues and escalate as needed
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems is a plus
- Experience with Windows 7/8/10 administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with Active Directory required.
- Familiarity with PC Imaging and Deployment required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office required.
- Anti-virus software installation, set-up, troubleshoot
- Testing network connectivity, printer troubleshooting
- Understanding or Experience of Virtual Server/Desktop Environments
- A , Network
- Experience with repairing hardware (laptop/PC) is a plus
