Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Pool Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The Pool Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for residential and commercial pool projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD software, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of pool construction standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for residential and commercial pool projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive plans.
- Create 2D and 3D models of pool designs using CAD software.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain and organize project files and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the pool construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of pool construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to pool construction.
- Valid driver's license and ability to conduct site visits as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Familiarity with landscape design and integration of pools into overall site plans.
