What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Key Attendant position at Coyote Valley Casino?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
1. Promote positive customer relations including resolving minor customer complaints and disputes.
2. Responsible for understanding all aspects of the various types of machines and assist the customer on how to play and read the machines.
3. Assist guests’ who need change and pay jackpots in conjunction with Cage personnel and Security.
4. Responsible for preventative maintenance on all machines.
5. Report major video/slot malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
6. Complete necessary sign in-out sheets for radios/keys.
7. Responsible for identifying machine malfunctions and performing minor repairs and adjustments to slot machines in a timely manner.
8. Must abide by the dress code maintaining the professional appearance of the Casino at all times.
9. Must be able to work well with Co-workers/Supervisor/Managers.
10. Must consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees, and represent the casino in a friendly and professional manner.
11. Must ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
12. May be required to perform on the job training to new employees.
13. Required to use hand held radio and maintain proper radio etiquette.
14. Responsible for general cleanliness of assigned area
15. May be asked to perform various duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
16. Must maintain a good attendance record.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the use of hand held radio.
The main responsibility of Slot Attendant is to provide superb customer service. Machine attendants provide this service by ensuring a timely response to slot customer’s needs including repairing minor machine malfunctions, paying jackpots, and filling empty machine hoppers. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino polices and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the basic Operational Foundation of the Tribe.
