Purpose/Introduction
We are seeking a qualified candidate to join the Maintenance Center of Excellence Department as an Improvement Analyst/Coordinator. The function of this position is to support site Maintenance Effectiveness improvement Teams that increase Maintenance capabilities and efficiency across CP Chem’s Maintenance Departments. This role will focus on coordinating with key stakeholders across the Chemisphere to develop/progress action plans utilizing effective tools that produce tangible results in achieving 1st quartile performance in Mechanical Availability and competitive cost. This role will report through the Maintenance Center of Excellence Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise to maintenance organization on troubleshooting failures, repairs, equipment evaluation, and work planning
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators and other metrics for maintenance work performance
- Lead in developing the maintenance budget
- Facilitates ongoing maintenance spend analysis and initiate corrective recommendations
- Adhere to the project process and manage cost for extraordinary maintenance expense work
- Lead the maintenance based or maintenance driven MOC’s
- Support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives
- Participate in the Bad Actor program and complete assigned action items
- Leads root cause investigations on complex equipment failures or maintenance safety events
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Accounting
- Cost accounting experience in Manufacturing
- Advanced PowerBi applications development
- Advanced SAP experience (PM, FI, PS modules)
- Experience in Maintenance activities
