SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE :
Skilled in dealing with people of all types. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and the general public
Skilled in coordinating / completing multiple tasks while entertaining frequent interruptions
Ability to counsel and advise appropriately
Ability to make sound decisions
Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks and reach closure on projects
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely
Computers skills : Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and HRIS such as BambooHR
Effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively present reports to management
Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Knowledge and skill are normally acquired through post-secondary education at the Bachelor's level in areas such as human resources management. CPPI is looking for :
Three to five years in a progressively responsible human resource generalist position if no college degree or
Three years in a professional or managerial human resources position with a Bachelor's degree.
Professional human resources certification (or demonstrated progress towards certification) is preferred but not required.
