Ultreia is looking to add an experienced Expeditor to our tight-knit team!

Ultreia offers a creative, playful glance at the high-energy fare of the Iberian Peninsula countries of Spain & Portugal. Featuring delectable tapas, paired with sophisticated cocktails and approachable wines, our team provides tailored experiences and vibrant, energetic service to our guests.

If you are a motivated service individual inspired by an upscale bar setting and Span"ish" cuisine, who possesses a strong work ethic, we'd love to meet you!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must have a keen eye to detail and organization.
  • Must have a strong understanding of restaurant sanitation protocol.
  • Must have a strong desire to work in team settings, constantly learning and adapting to unique situations, and having a positive, hospitable demeanor in the process.
  • Desire to create a warm, welcoming hospitality environment for every single patron.
  • Garnering a deep level of understanding of restaurant systems and how each position works together to create a meaningful guest experience.
  • Gaining intimate menu knowledge, having a strong desire for professional growth, and being the driving force of your own education.
  • Reading and anticipating guests' needs, and making confident menu recommendations to clientele.
  • Consistently and accurately executing responsibilities, including clear communication with all team members and accuracy in the ordering system. Prior experience with Toast is a plus!
  • Maintaining a strong attention to detail and ensuring every step of service and plate of food is executed with the highest quality and professionalism.
  • Caring for all members of the team with equal compassion and reverence.
  • Working with the management team to promptly address and correct any customer service issues, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive experience.
  • Treating the restaurant facilities with respect and maintaining a sense of personal ownership. Being a steward of the restaurant and leaving things better than how you found them. This involves daily cleaning duties and everyone "owning" shared common spaces.
  • Understanding that while every person on a team needs to execute their specific job, we also need to consider how we may contribute to the overall success of the organization, and we must all have a willingness to go above and beyond our specific job duties to create a positive work culture.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work flexible work schedules
  • Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
