Starting Pay: Depends on Experience
The Customer Service Representative provides effective customer service by establishing a working relationship with customers through communication via email and telephone. Customer Service Representatives work effectively with team members and use excellent, in depth knowledge of company products and programs to assist consumers, dealers, and sales representatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
- Provides timely and accurate information to customers regarding order statuses and product knowledge requests, including prices, delivery dates, order changes, etc.
- Maintains a high level of professional care while demonstrating a friendly cooperative attitude.
- Inside contacts include working with other departments (Collateral, Credit, Quality Control, Engineering, Shipping, and Sales Management) to ensure the timely processing of customer orders and inquiries.
- Maintain accessible and accurate record keeping regarding customer contacts and actions taken.
- Advise management of critical issues as they occur.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma with 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service – friendly, courteous, empathetic and helpful, interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word
- AS400 a plus
