Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2025 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.

The Human Resources Department is in charge of advancing the overall mission and strategic priorities of the Township through the acquisition, retention, and support of its most valuable resources - its employees. This internship's primary summer project will involve the Township's HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software. The successful applicant for this position will assist the HR Department with the optimization of the HRIS platform through record and data audits and entry to improve the effectiveness and utilization of the system. Additional duties for this position may include drafting policies and procedures, updating job descriptions, assisting in compliance and best-practice audits, supporting employee onboarding, and participating in Township operational planning functions.
The program will run from approximately May 19, 2025, through August 8, 2025. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include a variety of events and tours to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an educational institution. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred.
Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00
