Our client a network of fuel stations and providing petroleum products/services across the US, with a focus on retail and commercial fuel distribution. They are searching for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join their team ASAP!
Salary
$65-80k base salary bonus full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary
The primary function of the Marketing Operations Specialist is to prepare, and analyses reports for the effective and efficient function of the Commercial Department. The individual prepares letters and other correspondence with the company’s accounts, prepares presentations for upper management. The position assists the Senior Manager for Commercial Activities and ad hoc projects.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze reports including the following recurring reports: Outstanding maintenance issues Bids; actual vs. projected results Reseller contract volume shortfall Fleet Card Program analysis Motor oil sales Insurance Flash volume and margin Retail inventory variances Account overview and proposal template Send default notices to accounts to cure contract violations Calculate station rental amounts in accordance with company policy annually Compile dealer candidate information and disseminate to Sales Managers Update Retailing Standards Manual and Card Guide Send e-mail alerts to accounts as applicable Provide vacation coverage for the Contract Administrator and Pricing Coordinator Update website with current news related to commercial activities

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, OR One to two years of relevant experience/training, OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Capable of presenting information clearly and responding effectively to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic understanding of algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to handle challenges with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to conduct internet searches and manage email communications. Capable of reading, downloading, and sending files electronically.
Physical Demands
Regular talking and hearing required. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tasks. Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
