CRD Careers is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a growing company in the building materials industry . This is a great opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop relationships, increase revenue, and make an impact in the tri-state area.
What You’ll Do
As an Outside Sales Representative , you’ll be responsible for driving new business, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint in the market. Your role includes :
Generating new business through cold calling, job site visits, and networking – 85-90% of your time
Managing and servicing existing customers in collaboration with the Inside Sales Rep – 10-15% of your time
Developing relationships with contractors, project managers, and industry leaders
Attending trade shows, meetings, and industry events to grow the business
Staying current on products, market trends, and industry advancements
Achieving and exceeding sales goals & performance metrics
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
We need a results-driven, outgoing sales professional with a passion for business development. Our ideal candidate has :
3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
1-3 years of experience in building materials, construction, or a related industry (preferred)
Strong B2B sales & cold calling experience
Knowledge of contractors, vendors, and competitors in the tri-state area
Proficiency with CRM software & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize high-impact tasks
