What You’ll Do As The Controller/HR Manager
- Take full responsibility of the accounting department, designing systems and controls to optimize processes.
- Manage financial operations, including client billing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll for W-2 personnel.
- Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in bank reconciliations, debt payments, and client billings.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure an orderly accounting filing system.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Teams on strategic financial initiatives.
- Administer HR functions such as benefits enrollment, compliance, and personnel onboarding/offboarding.
- Assist managers with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and offer letters.
- Champion a culture of efficiency and compliance, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
The ideal Controller/HR Manager is ready to lead and equipped with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
- 10 years of combined experience in accounting, financial management, and human resources.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a proven ability to step into leadership roles quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior leadership and external partners.
- Industry experience in the service or construction sector (preferred).
- An accounting designation or equivalent P&L management experience is a plus.
This Role Offers a Competitive Compensation Package, Including
- A salary aligned with your expertise and leadership capabilities starting around $115,000.00 - $130,000.00.
- Eligibility for a discretionary incentive award.
- Comprehensive benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, company-paid short-term disability, term life insurance, and a Safe Harbor qualified 401(k) plan.
- Onsite, five days a week, with absolute work life balance! Rarely will you be in the office past 5:00 pm!
