Credit Manager

CFS has partnered with a local company that's looking to hire a Credit Manager. This company is a leading West Michigan Manufacturing Company that's looking for a positive professional who believes in providing the highest quality of service to join their Finance Team as their Credit Manager with the opportunity for expanded responsibilities into general accounting.

Credit Manager Responsibilities

• Establish customer credit limits through evaluation of a credit application, customer financial statements, credit reports and other data.
• Manage collections of all receivables and apply customer payments in a timely manner.
• Monitor overall customer and portfolio risk to ensure assets are managed effectively.
• Provide and review monthly metric reports to ensure corporate goals are met.
• Work with third party vendors providing credit risk software, credit card processing, and credit insurance.
• Develop effective relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Review and adhere to corporate credit policies and procedures.
• Assist Finance Team in meeting corporate goals and timelines.
• Learn general accounting functions and responsibilities.
• Assist and support the General Accountant.
  
  

Credit Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5 years related work experience is preferred.
• Proven organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate, support and work with all levels within the organization and our customers.
