Our client, a growing company in the real estate development space, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 2 years of public accounting or corporate experience.
• Industry experience in commercial real estate development or property management.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager or a similar real estate management system (required).
• Experience with project management and fixed asset accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel/SQL skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  
  

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day full-cycle property accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
• Lead financial reporting efforts using Yardi Voyager and Excel-based reporting tools.
• Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators, and profitability trends.
• Serve as a key liaison with auditors, tax accountants, and external partners.
• Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and process efficiencies.
• Prepare reports required for regulatory and insurance purposes.
• Support leadership in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
