Bookkeeper
A highly organized and detail-oriented professional is needed to support various administrative and bookkeeping functions. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, office management experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
- Process accounts receivable, including invoicing, tax-exempt form management, and collections follow-ups.
- Process accounts payable, ensuring vendor payments and expenses are recorded and managed properly.
- Calculate, submit, and pay monthly sales taxes.
- Reconcile payroll bank statements and assist with financial reporting.
- Support year-end accounting processes, including 1099 preparation and tax payments.
- Supervise the Office Assistant, ensuring tasks such as reception, mail processing, bank reconciliations, service ticket entry, AR collections, and filing are completed accurately and timely.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships, including returns and reconciliations.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and benefits administration.
- Coordinate company events, travel arrangements, and office-related purchases.
Requirements:
- An associate's degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- At least 3 years of QuickBooks experience.
- Experience in office management and bookkeeping.
- A strong understanding of general ledger, chart of accounts, and proper accounting entries.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
