Cabinet Assembly - 4-Day Work Week

Position Overview

This position entails working in a line format and other times on the open floor. You will sometimes work in a team and other times individually. You must be able to stand for periods of time, use hand tools and be flexible between cabinet and other assembly.

• Assembly: Assemble metal cabinets and enclosures according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Component Installation: Install hardware, components, and other necessary parts into the cabinets as required by the design.
• Material Handling: Manage and organize components and materials needed for assembly, ensuring they are readily available and correctly identified.
• Tool Operation: Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to drill, rivet, and assemble parts as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection reports as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• 1 years' experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable
• Ability to follow technical instructions and interpreting technical terms
• Experience reading blueprints
• Ability and experience meeting deadlines
• Ability to work at a reasonable pace with goals but not an assembly line environment
• Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to maintain the tools used to create products
• Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers.
• Ability to install hardware and/or gaskets into components and enclosures
• Experience with cabinet assembly a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
