Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned projects and campaigns. It is ideal that this person has experience with web development and can manage such projects. The Project Manager is the liaison between the client, agency design team, and vendors. They act as the project team leader with a thorough understanding of the planning, creative, and production processes. The Project Manager oversees the timely issuance of all documentation, including proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, timelines, contact reports, and status and budget reports, in addition to managing reconciliation of all assigned interactive projects. The Project Manager develops relationships with clients and works closely with them to learn their business and communication needs. They will also manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain positive vendor relationships, and negotiate on behalf of the company while respecting and protecting confidential client information.
Responsibilities
- Works in partnership with Client Services, Creative, Technical, and Production team members to develop project plans that help drive client business goals.
- Sees themselves as “part of the work” vs. someone who is simply managing the work.
- Has the ability to interpret client needs and make appropriate recommendations to overcome project challenges.
- Over communicates. Understands the importance of providing updates, sharing information, and providing the next steps related to any team “ask.”
- Understands the necessity of building and maintaining a properly functioning team dynamic and works to build a collaborative teamwork environment.
- Understands and is comfortable with the need to occasionally deviate from the process after determining the best course of action in collaboration with other team leads.
- Seeks out mentorship and training opportunities for junior production staff.
- Takes the lead in developing all project estimates, Statements of Work (SOW), timelines, and allocating necessary resources.
- Actively monitors the health of project budgets and timelines and appropriately flags concerns for discussion with cross-functional team leads.
- Responsible for the following financial-related tasks for all assigned projects :
Weekly Progress Update Report goes out every Monday before the EOD.

Compensation
Most of our projects operate on flat-rate agreements, with payments based on project scope rather than hours worked. Occasionally, hourly work may be required for small tasks at a starting rate of $18 / hour.
