The Security Analyst internship is designed to enable learning and personal development for those that have a passion to pursue a career in Information Security. As an Intern working in the information security department, you will work with a team to apply your knowledge and gain experience with one or more of the following :

Outcomes and Activities :

• Participate in either the Threat Vulnerability Management or Identity Access Management Program and provide necessary support to enhance the security of business applications and security platforms.
• Contribute to identifying areas for improvement and work with the team to set goals for future enhancements.
• Contribute to information security policies, standards, procedures, playbooks and other documentation as needed to improve information security capabilities.
• Create a defined set of metrics and dashboards to demonstrate the effectiveness of security controls and security team operations.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and exception approval processes.
• Generate security related artifacts as needed to meet internal and external compliance requirements.
• Keep abreast of industry and technology threats to guide security decisions.
