The Role :
As part of the centralized analytics team supporting the entire organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Portfolio Intelligence Specialist with a strong foundation in analytics, coding, and credit card portfolio management. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our credit card portfolio by providing in-depth analysis and actionable insights into the portfolio's financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field and exhibit qualities such as strategic thinking, advanced problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making, combined with proficiency in Python and other analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Portfolio Analysis :
- Analyze credit card portfolio performance, including profitability, customer behavior, and key performance metrics.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the portfolio to optimize growth and profitability.
- P&L Management & Performance Reporting :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and manage the credit card product's P&L.
- Understand and articulate the risk-reward tradeoff for key decision points.
- Perform variance analyses to ensure initiative-based financial goals are achieved.
- Data-Driven Insights :
- Leverage advanced analytics tools to assess transaction data, credit risk, and customer segmentation.
- Provide actionable recommendations to validate or improve product features, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with marketing, risk, and operations teams to support the implementation of campaigns and product enhancements.
- Partner with IT and data teams to ensure accurate performance reporting and access to relevant data.
- Strategic Initiatives :
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives for portfolio expansion and competitive positioning.
- Provide analytical support for existing partnerships and business development.
