Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. We use smartsheet to manage our projects. Preference given to smartsheet certifified applicants.
- Preference given to bluebeam certified applicants.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure adherence to established timelines and financial goals
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and presentations
- Collaborate and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Provide administrative support to the project team as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., smartsheet, ProCore, Primavera, Asana) for project scheduling and coordination
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices
- Familiarity with Civil 3D software for site design and modeling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
