Position Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the combined role of Project Manager, Estimator, and Master Scheduler. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, estimating, and scheduling, with the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

Lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Manage project teams, assign tasks, and ensure clear communication throughout all phases.

Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Regularly report on project status to management and clients / customers.

Estimating :

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.

Evaluate and analyze project specifications and drawings to accurately estimate costs.

Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotes.

Create, review, and validate change orders and adjust estimates as necessary.

Master Scheduling :

Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are tracked and met.

Coordinate resources and track progress against project timelines.

Use project management software to monitor and update schedules, adjusting as needed to address delays or changes.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects.

Communicate with Foremen / Superintendents to allocate labor resources efficiently across multiple crews and locations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).

2 plus years of experience in project management, estimating, and scheduling, within the construction industry (preferably the concrete construction industry).

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Proficient in project management software.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in Project Management (PMP, AACE, or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience with concrete construction.

Familiarity with contract negotiations and procurement processes.
