Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supervised Visitation Monitor / Front Desk Assistant to support our mission. This dual role involves supervised visitations to ensure the safety and well-being of children during parent-child interactions, as well as providing essential front desk assistance to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervised Visitation Monitor:
- Facilitate and supervise visitations between parents and children in a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of visitation sessions, including observations and interactions.
- Enforce center policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety during visitations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff regarding visitation guidelines and requirements.
Front Desk Assistant:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and community members at the Crisis Center.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing visitor logs.
- Provide information about services offered at the Crisis Center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in social services, psychology, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children and families, particularly in supervised visitation settings, is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
