Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supervised Visitation Monitor / Front Desk Assistant to support our mission. This dual role involves supervised visitations to ensure the safety and well-being of children during parent-child interactions, as well as providing essential front desk assistance to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervised Visitation Monitor:

  • Facilitate and supervise visitations between parents and children in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of visitation sessions, including observations and interactions.
  • Enforce center policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety during visitations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff regarding visitation guidelines and requirements.

Front Desk Assistant:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and community members at the Crisis Center.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing visitor logs.
  • Provide information about services offered at the Crisis Center.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in social services, psychology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with children and families, particularly in supervised visitation settings, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
