- Crafting state-specific strategies for charter approval processes, advising internal teams on local requirements and nuances
- Assembling diverse coalitions of parents, educators, and community leaders to showcase robust local backing for charter submissions
- Designing and implementing comprehensive engagement plans for your state, ensuring regular communication with crucial stakeholders
- Utilizing relationships to obtain informal insights and direction during application development
- Concentrating only on policy advocacy or legislative matters without clear business outcomes
- Being confined to a desk - this position demands active interaction with officials and community leaders
- Engaging in general education policy topics unrelated to charter approvals
- Managing federal education policy or Congressional relations

Basic Requirements
- Documented success as a state-level lobbyist or advocate, especially in obtaining approvals/licenses from state government entities
- Pre-established connections with state education officials in target states
- Proven capability to form local coalitions in support of advocacy initiatives
- Residing in California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina
- Ready and willing to travel within the region
- Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
