Working with Crossover
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct engaging, personalized reading sessions using our AI-driven adaptive platform.
- Design innovative literacy interventions to maximize impact within our 2-hour model.
- Collaborate with our tech team to refine AI tools that enhance your expertise.
- Utilize real-time data analytics to continuously improve each student's learning journey.
- Create scalable literacy content that adapts to individual student needs.
- Spending time on traditional lesson planning and administrative tasks.
- Following outdated reading programs that disregard technological advancements.
- Dealing with overcrowded classrooms and limited resources.
- Managing behavioral issues instead of focusing on teaching.
- Getting bogged down with unnecessary paperwork that doesn't impact student success.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Elementary Education, Literacy, or a related field.
- Alternatively, any bachelor's degree with recognized reading instruction certifications (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System).
- Experience teaching early elementary students with proven literacy instruction success.
- Excitement for educational technology and a willingness to embrace AI-driven tools.
- Proven ability to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Ability to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Barbara, CA; Tampa, FL; West Palm Beach, FL.
