Member Service Representative (Teller) – NJ Gateway FCU

NJ Gateway Federal Credit Union, located in South Brunswick NJ is seeking a Member Service Representative(teller) to accurately process all financial transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will be responsible for competently providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, electronically and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

• Support members with the following services, including but not limited to – opening and closing of various deposit accounts and services, account servicing, and maintenance requests.
• Perform traditional teller functions such as cash drawer balancing and processing member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
• Handle member inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all distribution channels, to drive member utilization and engagement.
• Assist in ordering and auditing cash and settlements of the vault and other office-related operational tasks.
• Abide by proper regulatory compliance, follow policies and procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with fellow team members.
• Excellent oral and written communication and people skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have basic knowledge of MS Office with the ability to learn other job specific software applications.
