Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff members to promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, customer service, and sales performance.
- Review current workloads and identify opportunities to realign responsibilities or add support where needed, ensuring teams functions efficiently and effectively.
- Foster a customer-first environment by ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently met.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and address any escalated concerns.
- Promote teamwork, recognition, and a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to increase revenue and customer engagement.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment for both staff and customers.
- Work closely with upper management to implement company policies and procedures.
- Ensure sufficient coverage of cash register for all shifts; be able to fill in at cash register (when needed).
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
- Background in operations would be great!
- Outstanding leadership capabilities.
- Experience in plumbing supplies, hardware, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, operations, and customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience managing employee performance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software tools.
