Job Title: Substitute Teacher
Location: Crowley County School District
Reports To: Principal/Head Teacher
Job Summary: The Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering instructional programs in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide instruction to students on a variety of subjects, following established curriculum guidelines.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during the school day.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance and reporting any incidents.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
- Valid teaching certificate or substitute teaching permit required.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a classroom environment.

Salary : $150 - $200
