Reports To : Building Administrator and K-12 Special Ed

Job Summary : The Paraprofessional Substitute assists in the instructional process and supports students in the absence of the regular paraprofessional. This role is vital in providing a conducive learning environment and ensuring that students receive the necessary support to succeed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instructional activities and materials to students.
- Support students with special needs by providing individualized attention and assistance.
- Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Implement behavioral management strategies as directed by the teacher.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during activities and transitions.
