What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Campus Pastor position at Crown College?
DEFINITION: Provide oversight and leadership for campus spiritual formation through small group discipleship (Life Together groups), outreach/global ministries (Campus Mobilization Team and Destination: Serve Trips), and pastoral care within the Campus Ministry department.

EQUIPMENT/JOB LOCATION:
Works from an office at Crown College. Equipment used includes but is not limited to, personal computer and required programs, printer, fax machine, calculator, copy machines, and other equipment as the position requires.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Spiritual Formation
- Oversee Life Together Groups (Small group ministry) by recruiting, training, and supervising facilitators; ensuring meeting space; promoting groups across campus; and assessing effectiveness
- Coordinate efforts of the Campus Mobilization Team (student leaders) to promote, educate, and encourage the participation of the Crown College community in local and global missions initiatives.
- Coordinate all aspects of 4-6 groups of short-term mission trips involving students and staff/faculty advisors (Destination: Serve)
- Support departmental strategic planning, assessment, daily operations, and spiritual formation initiatives.
- Provide compassionate pastoral care, offering spiritual guidance, emotional support, and encouragement to students in their personal and faith journeys.
Administration & Operation
- Actively participate and support Student Development staff and other student initiatives.
- Represent the Division of Student Development on campus committees as assigned.
- Manage the budgets within areas of supervision.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry or related field
- Experience working with young adults and/or in higher education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accreditation with Christian & Missionary Alliance or other evangelical denomination
- Master’s degree in ministry-related field
