Summary
Crown Dental has an exciting opportunity to participate in our summer internship program as a Human Resource Assistant. As a new hire for this position you will participate in meaningful work, along with making contributions to team efforts in our fast paced, people first corporate environment. This position will be a hybrid position working both remotely and on site at our corporate office located in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
- Support onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain employee records and assist with HR documentation as needed.
- Help manage performance evaluation processes and track employee progress.
- Assist in workforce management initiatives to optimize staffing levels.
- Participate in conflict resolution efforts and provide support to employees as needed.
- Contribute to various HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources or related administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of workforce management principles and performance management processes.
- Familiarity with HR software such as Paylocity or Workday is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of affirmative action planning is beneficial but not required.
