As a hands-on sales agronomist, you will work closely with growers to offer high-quality products and solutions that cater to their needs. This role involves building strong relationships, providing expert agronomic advice, and driving sales growth by increasing crop inputs.
Sales Agronomist Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and provide tailored recommendations to customers.
- Drive sales growth by increasing crop inputs and related product sales to existing customers.
- Offer expert agronomic guidance and stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to align with company objectives.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory required.
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales within the ag industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, and ag technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required and ability to learn/use Ag software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
